Our team members compiled of our Executive Director, our Instructors, and our Administrator/Assistant here at Home Orchestra and Music Education (H.O.M.E.), work hard to teach and inspire your students to excel in and to love music. We wouldn’t be where we are today if not for their amazing talents along with their dedication and commitment to their students. These are the faces behind H.O.M.E.

NADINE CHADWELL
Executive Director and Strings Instructor
A native of San Antonio who attended Central State University on a full violin performance scholarship, Nadine has played in symphony orchestras in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. She has taught hundreds of students through the CBC (Community Bible Church) School of Fine Arts, the Cornerstone Music Conservatory, the FBCUC (First Baptist Church of Universal City) School of Worship Arts, Owner and Director of H.O.M.E. (Home Orchestra and Music Education), and her own home studio. She was concertmaster at Community Bible Church for 10 years. She partnered with Vitas Healthcare to found Vitas Strings, offering her students the opportunity to use their musical skills for nursing home and hospice clients. She has travelled the world as a missionary musician with Global Missions Project, leading several master classes internationally. While she continues to teach violin, viola, cello, and bass, her passion for playing and teaching has opened up unique opportunities for helping others.

JESSE REECE
Guitar and Ukulele Instructor
Jesse Reece is a classical guitarist known for delivering performances with a unique and sensitive voice. He is passionate about sharing impactful musical moments through both performing and teaching as he believes music can greatly impact lives in a positive way by encouraging people to engage with themselves and their emotions in new ways.
He has completed his B.M. degree at East Carolina University where he studied with Dr. Elliot Frank and his M.M. at The University of Texas at San Antonio with Dr. Isaac Bustos where he also worked as graduate teaching assistant.
He has received awards and placements in many international solo classical guitar
competitions such as the Appalachian State University Guitarfest, Columbus State University Guitar Symposium, Southeast Guitarfest, Florida State University Guitar festival, Queen’s University Guitar Symposium as well as many more.
In 2023, he was a participant in Ex-Aequo’s Emerging Artist’s Initiative, in which he
performed multiple concerts in Austin, TX, recorded solo works with Drew Henderson, and premiered “Six by Six” by Sergio Assad with five other guitarists chosen for the initiative through a worldwide search.
Jesse is an active concert artist giving both solo and chamber performances at guitar festivals across the country and enjoys performing with the guitar in many different genres including jazz, blues, classical and rock.

VANESSA MUELLER
Band Director and Piano Instructor
Vanessa was born and raised in San Antonio. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s in Instrumental Music Education. During her years in Amarillo and Houston, Texas, she was a Middle School Band Director and High School Band Assistant. She has also taught General Music classes at the Elementary level in Idaho. More recently, Vanessa has taught with other homeschool groups, teaching classes in Boomwhackers, Recorder, and Color Guard. In addition, she enjoys arranging music for mixed ensembles at her church. Vanessa is delighted to bring so many aspects of her music teaching experience together for HOME’S band program.

KRISTA FOX
Piano Instructor
Krista Fox is graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Piano. She has been playing the piano since she was 5 years old. Krista has always had a passion for music and loves teaching her students. She is a proud military wife and homeschool mother of two daughters.

JESSICA CASSELL
Piano Instructor
Jessica Cassell comes from a music loving family, and has always recognized the power of music in daily life. Piano has been part of her life since she was seven. She is a homeschool parent of two and has lived in San Antonio for over a decade. Through the years she has loved working with students through co-ops and community events, and looks forward to sharing the love of music with H.O.M.E.
